Interactive applications in undergraduate mathematics

This page contains links to various interactive applications that may be of interest to undergraduate mathematics students. The applications are intended to enhance understanding. They are not drill and practice exercises nor are they intended as calculation aids.

Java Applications

Here are some applications that I wrote a while ago using Java. These can be downloaded and run on a PC. Most of these were developed while I was working at the Open University - much of the time was funded by a grant from the then Maths, Stats and OR network, now part of the HEA.

Since retiring from the Open University I have moved to writing in a combination of css, html5 and javascript. The reason for this is that the resulting software will run on mobile devices as well as computers. I also make use of 'Geogebra' when appropriate. Some of the following are versions of the original java applications.
